During my personal life journey of seeking the Lord, I began to journal. Each day through prayer and scripture, the Lord would give me words to write that eventually inspired this book. I had no intention of writing a book personally, but God began to give me insight and words to speak over my own life that He wanted me to share with others. As you read the scriptures, devotions, and poems, begin your journey and preparation by also journaling your own thoughts and ideas. Allow God to challenge and change you from the inside out. I promise you that the time spent in personal preparation will produce a great harvest. The subtitle of this book was created as I explored my personal gifts. The Lord gave me prophetic utterances which came to me in the form of poetry. The peculiar thing is that I had not really written poetry before other than a poem in high school, but as I began this journey with prayer, God began to give me words to say. Could it be that God is inspiring you to use your gifts to edify the body? I believe that this is His desire for every believer. I pray that they Lord gives you more time to reflect upon your own gifts as you read this daily 31-day devotional. I pray that the Lord quickens and awakens your spirit.
