Digitalization creates prerequisites for a radical paradigm shift in social structure, changing people's consciousness and their worldview. The digital economy forces society to evolve from the solidarity relations of the industrial age to individualized, fragmented, unstable, and often virtual relations. The digital modernization of society implies a qualitatively new version of socio-economic relations, turning society into an enterprise in which information and knowledge and the level of their availability and application radically influences the increase of economic efficiency and improvement of the quality of life of citizens. In the near future, the role of human capital as a factor determining the dynamics of the development of the digital economy will only increase.
