JONATHAN JACKSON, JR. is a writer and visual artist. He wrote the foreword to the current edition of Soledad Brother: The Prison Letters of George Jackson and has shown his paintings in three solo exhibits, "Yesterday's News" (2008), "Flood of Memory" (2018), and "Residue of a Vision" 2021.
