David J. Greening was born in Karachi in 1969 AD, briefly went to kindergarten in Malta and grew up in Germany. After cleaning dishes in a delicatessen, working on building sites, flipping burgers and other assorted odd jobs he trained to become a landscape gardener, a profession he worked in before studying Ancient History. Completing an MA in 2004 and a PhD in 2007 he currently works as a school teacher and part-time lecturer of ancient and medieval history. |
