Debbie Young writes warm, witty cosy mysteries celebrating village life in the Cotswolds, where she has lived for most of her life. She writes by hand in a little wooden hut in the garden of her Victorian cottage. So far, Debbie has written 18 novels, comprising three series and a standalone, all published by Boldwood Books. A growing number of translations are available or in production. Debbie also enjoys writing short fiction, including spin-offs from her novels, and murder mystery plays for her local village drama group. Very much involved in village life, she is founder and director of the Hawkesbury Upton Literature Festival. She loves speaking at other bookish events too, for book groups and public libraries and bookish events such as the London Book Fair and Cheltenham Literature Festival. Debbie is represented by Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency. Visit Debbie's website at www.authordebbieyoung.com and join her Readers' Club to receive a free ebook of one of her novelettes.
