A last-minute #girlstrip #getaway to the #OregonCoast is just what @ZoeSaysSoFitness needs. Or at least what the real Zoe needs. Hiking and laughing are the only two items on the agenda for their overnight trip to the tiny, picturesque town of Three Rocks. One stop at The Town Mercantile and two cinnamon rolls later, Zoe is wishing she could add "cute, dimpled, small-town boy" to that list.
Meanwhile, the only thing on Lucas's agenda is holding onto his job while caring for his elderly grandfather. He's accepted that his photography dream was just that: a dream. The only thing more far-fetched than that is thinking he has a chance with the beautiful, dark-haired, bubbly, charismatic, and apparently famous girl that walks into the store one Monday morning.
Much to his surprise and despite living in different cities, or perhaps entirely different worlds, he does have a chance. Between waterfall hikes and FaceTime calls, library trips with Gramps and dinners shared in their tiny kitchen, Lucas quickly realizes that Zoe fits perfectly in his life.
But just one night in her world has them both questioning their future. Is her time at the coast just an escape from her job? How long until she realizes that she's destined for so much more than Lucas will ever be able to offer? And when that time comes, how will Lucas and Gramps go back to life without Zoe?
