S.Y. Mc Kenzie is a writer, teacher, and devotional theologian whose work sits at the intersection of esoteric Christianity, the Divine Feminine wisdom traditions, and the everyday reclamation of the sacred. His writing draws on more than two decades of study across the Gnostic gospels, Kabbalah, Hermetic and alchemical traditions, the Black Madonna pilgrimage sites of Europe, and the suppressed lineage of Sophia, Shekinah, and Mary Magdalene. By profession, he is a longtime educator in computer science and cybersecurity curriculum design; at home, he is a Waldorf-oriented parent and an active member of an open, non-denominational Christian community. He is the founder of Archives of Inquiry, an independent publishing house for works that bridge ancient wisdom and modern awakening. The Constipated Spirit is his debut.
