Dawn Cloud was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where storytelling has always been part of who she is. She wrote her first short story at nine years old and has been creating unforgettable characters and emotionally layered worlds ever since.

A proud graduate of the University of West Georgia, Dawn earned her bachelor's degree in English before completing a master's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Fiction at Georgia State University.

By day, she teaches high school English and encourages young writers to find their voices. By night, she writes emotionally charged stories about love, resilience, complicated relationships, and the messy beauty of being human. When she's not grading papers or working on her next novel, Dawn can usually be found at the gym, lost in a good book, or filling online shopping carts she may or may not check out.

She lives in the Metro Atlanta area with her two daughters, who inspire her creativity, courage, and every story she tells.
