Skip Walker is an Episcopal priest and jazz musician. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, he brings a rare fusion of musical mastery and theological depth to the pulpit. Walker holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the School of Theology at Sewanee: the University of the South, and is a former adjunct instructor of Religion and Music at Methodist University and former lecturer in Jazz Studies at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. His most recent album, Tina's Contemplation, reached the Top 25 on JazzWeek. He currently serves as coordinator of Black Church Ministries for the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina and as priest-in-charge at two historic congregations: St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Wilmington, NC, and St. Joseph's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, NC. He lives in Fayetteville, NC.
