Holy Shift is Simi Monheit's second novel. Kirkus Reviews named her debut, The Goldie Standard, one of the 100 Best Indie Books of 2024.

When she isn't authoring books, Simi is an active member of the Kindertransport Association, where she presents her family's history in local schools to educate students about the enduring importance of tolerance and its relevance today. She also leads writing workshops, helping attendees craft their own family stories. She believes deeply in learning through storytelling?and in the power of sharing our stories with one another. She lives in Los Gatos, California.
