McKenna Ellerbeck should be concentrating on understanding her new powers, reforming the Witch Council, and enjoying her new throuple. But when a should-be dead figure from her past shows up on her doorstep, McKenna finds that once again she has to save Arcadia Commons from magical destruction in the thrilling conclusion to the McKenna Ellerbeck trilogy.

McKenna Ellerbeck's high school bully, Mariposa Perez, has just shown up on her doorstep. Except Mari's definitely supposed to be dead, a couple of times over. She's also a vampire.

More concerning than Mari's return is that her new employer, the Archdemon of Fear, wants to form an alliance. Turns out there's a turf war between Fear and the Archdemon of Rage, and Arcadia Commons just became the battleground. Wary and convinced they can handle it on their own, McKenna, Bastien, and Remi, the Archdemon of Desire and Madness, dismiss Mari. Nonetheless, her very presence throws the balance of the newly established throuple into a tailspin.

But when McKenna's hit with a curse that has her teleporting at random, the Council wants to lock her up (again), and hellfires start raging across the town, they just might have to make a deal with a vampire--or a demon--if they want to survive.
